Todays update is broken

Crash on startup, each time...

Good

It was the last issue to fix, the blue dot issue. It is great now! Free, off line capability ( !!!!! ) use internal compass, many more. Great

Not free

another app that claims to be free and isnt. The free features just make it a cheap version of google maps, and obviously the only useful one is paid.

PAS COMPATIBLE AVEC CET IPAD ???

jE reve !

It can get better

The problem is that in Brazil it has a big number of streets that are not listed (no name). But the idea of the software is good, anyway.

no localisation spot

blue localisation spot is still missing (iPhone 4, iOS 5.1). so app has no function for me :-( please solve the problem quickly!

No retina support on iPad 3

The maps are more detailed and readable than with Google Maps, but they are not shown using the highest resolution on iPad 3.

Whydoesitcrash

Whydoesitcrash???

Update for iPhone 5 please.

With the current Maps debacle, a cool full screen OSM app would be truly nice.

Awesome

Has stuff other maps dont. Such as trails and my university campus buildings.

Downloading

Could not ever get the view downloads function to work and thus wasted &1.99!!

Junk

I tried searching for an address and I kept getting a timeout error... I mean if its not reliable enough to find a simple address then whats the point? Delete?!?!?!

Best map application

—ever! Not only does it use the best online mapping service—OpenStreetMap—but it is designed beautifully, integrates some of the best technologies such as integrated feedback voting and suggestions (ideascale), and contains a lot of power under the hood. Did I mention its free?

DO NOT DOWNLOAD App cant download tiles

After a frustrating evening of trying to figure out why I cant download the maps for offline, use, I came across this warning on the OpenStreetMap site: "This tool results in heavy traffic for the OSM tile servers and is likely to be blocked." And thats exactly what it is. You get map tiles that say ACCESS BLOCKED" Which is the opposite of a useful offline street map. Until the developers fix this problem by service tiles legitimately, instead of in violation of the OpenStreetMap policies, this app is useless. Do not buy.

Pixelated

Pixelated and still not ready for the retina display

Looks like its free but it is not *LIAR*

You think you can get my money with monkey business !!! Liar

Blocked -- Do Not Use!

This app hogs OSM servers and is blocked by the OSM. Dont waste your time with it!

Features dont work on iPad

The demo and the iPad version dont match up... Functions dont work well such as delete a pin.

Not for offline use

This is a great map app for use with Open Street Map data as long as there is an always on data connection. However, there are some problems with its offline caching abilities. Firstly, the in-app-purchase download tool ($2), has a bug. After I downloaded an admittedly large amount of map data (thousands of tiles), some tiles were returned with an "access blocked" notification instead of map data. I realize that OSM is volunteer run, and we cannot expect to download unlimited amounts of data from them, however, there way of knowing what the download limit is. Now, whenever I try to download even a couple of hundred tiles, some are returned as "access blocked" notifications. These blocked tiles cannot be refreshed, and exist as a hole in the cached map until the entire map cache is cleared. Instead of poisoning the the map cache with these tiles, would it be possible to throttle large downloads or pop-up a notification that the selected download is too large? This paid-for download tool is now useless to me. I dont recommend purchasing it. Secondly, if you are able to manage to cache a map for offline use (this can be done by panning around the map), it can suddenly and unexpectedly lost. Even when the "offline mode" setting is turned on, I have found that I have lost maps that were previously cached when I have been in areas with no service. But like I said, if not for the problems with the download tool and the offline cache, this is an excellent, five star, app. The user interface is simple, elegant, and very user friendly. The feel of the zooming and panning of the map, with inertia, is great. If you want to cache Open Street Map data, check out the Pocket Earth app (Im not affiliated with them in any way, I just love the app).

森の中でも迷わない

森や山の小径までハッキリ判る唯一の地図アプリだと思います。MapTypeはOpenStreetMapがお勧めですね。
